# KalshiScan > KalshiScan is a free analytics site for Kalshi, the CFTC-regulated US event-contract exchange. It > reads Kalshi's own public data — markets, trades and the public trader profiles Kalshi publishes — > and shows it in units Kalshi uses: contracts, and cents per contract. Kalshi is an exchange, not a > blockchain: its traders are identified by nickname, its trades have no transaction hashes, and > nothing here involves wallets, tokens or on-chain settlement. > > Fuller notes, including what Kalshi does and does not publish: [llms-full.txt](https://kalshiscan.com/llms-full.txt). ## Pages - [Markets](https://kalshiscan.com/markets): find any open Kalshi market by its name or in a plain sentence ("nfl games this weekend that are coin flips"). The page shows how it read the sentence, each filter removable, and answers from Kalshi's own market search, saying how many results it read. Category chips narrow it to Kalshi's own categories; before a search it shows shelves of live and upcoming games, the biggest moves, what closes soon, what Kalshi is trending and its newest listings. Prices are in cents and volume is all-time contracts traded; `?q=` opens a search. - [Classic markets list](https://kalshiscan.com/markets?classic=1): every open Kalshi event in one filterable list, with 24-hour and total volume in contracts, open interest, close times, category filters, sorting and CSV export (also at [/market-search](https://kalshiscan.com/market-search)). - [One market](https://kalshiscan.com/market/KXNFLWINS-27NE-10): a single market by its Kalshi ticker — yes/no quotes in cents, contracts traded, open interest, close time, price history and Kalshi's own resolution rules. - [One event](https://kalshiscan.com/event/KXBTCPRICE-85000): an event and each of its outcomes. - [Live trades](https://kalshiscan.com/free-alpha): Kalshi's public trade feed, polled continuously, with a gap marked whenever trades printed between two reads and the measured rate of prints a second at the chosen size floor. - [Trade scanner](https://kalshiscan.com/trades): a contiguous window of recent trades at a size floor, with American odds, implied probability and CSV export. Kalshi accepts only certain floors ($1, $10, $100, $1,000, $10,000); a floor in between is applied here after reading the nearest one Kalshi allows. - [Whales](https://kalshiscan.com/whales): trades of $10,000 or more from the last 24 clock hours, with the hours that could not be read left blank rather than drawn as zero. - [Leaderboards](https://kalshiscan.com/leaderboard/pnl/all_time): Kalshi's own boards. Kalshi ranks traders by projected profit, by contracts traded and by markets traded, over five periods (day, week, month, year, all-time). It does not publish a win-rate or ROI ranking, so neither exists here. - [Trader profile](https://kalshiscan.com/address/szg.szg): a public Kalshi profile by nickname — the P&L Kalshi reports for that trader, dollars traded, contracts, markets traded, badges, and their trades when the trader shares them. Most traders keep trades and positions private; a private figure reads "not shared", never zero. - [Trader search](https://kalshiscan.com/search): Kalshi's own leaderboards (the top 100 by P&L, contracts traded or markets traded, by window and category), nickname search over KalshiScan's index and Kalshi's profile search, and a lifetime P&L screen. The classic search at /search?classic=1 orders the index by contracts traded, dollars traded, markets traded, followers, profile views, nickname or first seen, with CSV export. - [Movers](https://kalshiscan.com/movers): the largest price moves across Kalshi markets. - [Losers](https://kalshiscan.com/losers): among the busiest traders by contracts, the ones whose own public profiles report a negative P&L. A sample of the busiest traders, not a ranking of the biggest losses on Kalshi — Kalshi publishes no such ranking. - [Compare traders](https://kalshiscan.com/kalshi/compare): up to four public profiles side by side. - [Watch lists](https://kalshiscan.com/watchlists): lists of Kalshi traders by nickname, with each member's public figures summed. Nicknames are case-sensitive on Kalshi. - [Embeddable widgets](https://kalshiscan.com/embed): iframes for a market card, a market chart, a trader's public figures, the whale feed or the live trade feed. - [Glossary](https://kalshiscan.com/glossary): Kalshi's mechanics — event contracts, cents per contract, settlement by the exchange, and how that differs from a blockchain prediction market. ## Units, and what they mean - **Volume and open interest are CONTRACTS**, not dollars. A market showing "389K" has traded 389,000 contracts. - **Prices are cents per contract**, 1¢–99¢, and a contract settles at $1 or $0. A 46¢ YES quote is the market's ~46% implied probability. - **A trader's P&L is Kalshi's own figure** from their public profile, all time, in dollars. - **"Not shared" means the trader hid it**; it is never rendered as zero. - **Nicknames are case-sensitive.** `Bitcoin`, `bitcoin` and `BITCOIN` are three different Kalshi accounts. ## What is not here - No wallet addresses, token ids or transaction hashes. Kalshi settles on its own exchange. A URL like `/address/0x…` or `/tx/0x…` returns a page saying so. - No win rate, ROI, Sharpe ratio, drawdown or open positions per trader: Kalshi does not publish them, so they are absent rather than estimated. - No public API yet. There is no KalshiScan API key, endpoint or agent arena; earlier versions of this file described PolymarketScan's API, which is a different site. - No copy-trading, signal or "smart money" product. KalshiScan reports what Kalshi published; it gives no trading advice. ## Data and method Everything is read from Kalshi's public endpoints (`api.elections.kalshi.com`) through KalshiScan's own server, live, with short caches — Kalshi refuses requests that carry a browser origin. Nothing is inferred: when a read fails, the page says the read failed rather than showing an absence, and a figure Kalshi does not publish is left out. ## Contact - Website: https://kalshiscan.com
